Homes in the North Altanta suburbs range in price from the $90's to a million dollars.  The average sales price of a home is right at $ 200,000.  Besides size and condition, location is a big factor. Usually, the closer to Atlanta you are, the higher the price. The amenities within a subdivision are also contributors to the price.

A two story traditional floorplan is the most common. However we have plenty of 1 & 1/2 story homes, ranches, split levels, and split foyers. We still have an abundance of new construction and it is unusual to find a home more than 25 years old in the suburbs. Because of the rolling terrain, most of our homes do have some basement space. It is unusual to find a dark basement underground. Most basements are built into a hill and offer daylight. Fireplaces, air conditioning and garages are definitely the norm. Most folks visiting for the first time are surprised by the abundance of beautiful trees.
